Background
Foreign Africa invites applications from motivated students, young graduates, and early-career professionals across Africa and beyond to join its Remote Internship Programme (RIP).
Foreign Africa is a pan-African social enterprise committed to building a socially conscious business ecosystem across Africa. Its mission is to empower young Africans and informal businesses through research, innovation, and diplomatic engagement. The organisation works to enhance the global visibility for African enterprises, support youth-led startups, expand learning opportunities for informal businesses, and influence trade and investment policies to ensure they translate into decent employment outcomes for Africans. Although at an early stage of organisational growth, Foreign Africa is powered by a sharp, disciplined talent pool and innovative programming. The organisation is reccognised for its contribution to development discourses within the Africa–Europe cooperation.

Objective of the Internship Programme
The internship programme aims to:

Provide practical professional experience in research, policy, and programme work.

Support Foreign Africa’s research outputs, publications, and programmes.

Build skills in analysis, communication, and project implementation.

Contribute to youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and job creation efforts.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Be a current student or recent graduate (within the last two years).

Demonstrate interest in foreign policy, African development, entrepreneurship, or social impact.

Possess good writing and communication skills.
-
Be able to commit at least 15–20 hours per week for the duration of the programme.
