Nana Osei Agyekum is a strategic communications professional with nearly a decade of experience across corporate communications, business development, institutional partnerships and cross-border mobility in Africa. At Foreign Africa, he serves as the organisation’s communications strategist, translating research, programmes and partnerships into clear public and institutional engagement, with a practical grounding in how mobility systems, visa regimes and institutional coordination shape the movement of people and organisations across the continent.
He currently serves as Head of Communications, Sales and Marketing at Travel Desk Limited, where he leads corporate communications, commercial strategy, brand development and institutional partnerships within the corporate travel and MICE ecosystem. Based in Accra, Ghana, Nana has managed visa advisory and mobility arrangements, supporting more than 1,200 multi-country deployments across more than 25 African countries, giving him direct exposure to the regulatory, stakeholder, and cross-border coordination realities that continue to shape mobility within Africa.
Previously, as Business Development Manager at TravelPass Limited, Nana managed institutional relationships and business operations while contributing to the digitalisation of internal processes. Earlier, at Satguru Travels Limited, he supported business development and corporate communications, contributing to institutional engagements involving organisations including UNICEF, JICA, Deloitte, MTN and CEIBS.
At Foreign Africa, Nana brings this combination of communications expertise, private-sector experience and practical knowledge of cross-border mobility to the organisation’s continental work and strategic communications positioning. His perspective is particularly relevant to Foreign Africa’s interests in regional integration, cross-border movement, enterprise connectivity, and institutional engagement — offering insight into the regulatory and administrative barriers that individuals, businesses and institutions encounter when attempting to operate across national boundaries.
